What’s Behind Door Number 10101

For this project- I decided to do the word art assignment. For this one, I created something that I actually printed out and placed in my journal because I loved it that much.

As you can see, I created a sun with words of compliments and positive meanings. I created this into a sun because of how happy and bright the words all were. The sunshine always gave me that same amount of feeling (espeically in the summer). I used the overall color scheme of yellow because yellow is a happy color to me as well. What you’ll notice is that I created all of this with a very happy frame of mind. I darkened the quotes that I loved the most. Those were what I wanted to be the main focal point of the word art. They were also the larger words. When you look closely at the rays, they also have the quotes filling them up. The quotes that I was highlighting are bold as well which is exactly what I was aiming for. When looking at the photo- you can see that the top words get almost orange as they fade out. That is because I wanted it to look like something that wouldn’t fade away and would only become brighter with time and more life experiences.
